Lisa Roy Sachs was born in Monson, Massachusetts in 1974. She received her B.F.A. from the Hartford Art School in 1996 and her M.F.A. from Yale University in 1998. Her work has been shown in solo exhibitions at the Luxe Gallery in New York City (2003) and G-Module in Paris (2003). Lisa's photographs have also been featured in multiple group exhibitions in the United States including shows at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., Artists Space in New York, and Sandroni-Rey Gallery in Los Angeles. She has also appeared in group shows in Torino, Italy, Bergen, Norway, and Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Lisa's work has been reviewed in The New York Times, Time Out New York, Flash Art, Art Review, and is in several collections including the Progressive art collection. Lisa currently lives in Newton, Massachusetts with her husband, Benjamin, and three daughters, Aviva, Zoe, and Miriam. |
